1993 integra gsr B17a1 tach doesnt rev past 6700
So i bought this car from a guy and its an ls model but somehow they found a b17a1 to throw in it, its the correct ecu but the tachometer doesnt go past 6700 rpm, the motor revs to 8000 as it is supposed to and it engages vtec at 5500, it has me stumped and any input would help, Thank you!
NO^ I've used an LS cluster in my gsr before same scaling
try a different cluster first that what it sounds like since the engine will rev higher.

I gotcha but the cluster just abruptly stops and doesnt even touch the redline at 6700, but just stops. Ill try a different cluster and see what happens, thanks
Alright well gladly I took apart my cluster today and it was just the screw that holds the tack face on was loose and stopping it from going further. It happily goes to 8k now
