Default need help with offset and backspacing

Ive been a honda owner since high school. Thats about 15 years ago. Ive always bought rims that were from another honda and now im in the market for a new one. I looking to purchase a size 13 wheels for the front to mount slicks on to. Ive been reading and reading and still cant understand if itll clear the caliper and rotors or not. If you have any suggestions please inform me. I just need to buy wheels soon and I dont want to buy the wrong ones. thanks.

Well, neither offset nor backspacing will tell you whether or not a wheel will actually clear your brakes. The wheels design (of the face), as well as how much hub spacing the wheel has, will tell you whether or not the wheel will clear your brakes. I'd take measurements from the brake rotor to the outer most point of your caliper, as well as the radius dimension from the center of the hub to the outer most point of your brake caliper. Then, when ordering the wheels, you should mention this to the manufacturer in the design requirements. They should be able to tell you whether or not you can clear their wheels.
