Default Starting

Hi, I recently noticed this happening. The only way I can start my car is to put my key to the on position and wait for the lit check engine light to go off then start it. It starts within half a sec no problem but i have to wait for the light to go off. What is causing this? I have a mini me with a d15b and a z6 head p28 ecu.

That's actually the proper way to start your car. The CEL turns off when your fuel pump is done priming. If it's taking more than a couple seconds, your fuel pump is starting to fail, or (less likely) not getting full voltage.
