D15 Compression test
Hello. I have a 93 civic lx, with a d15b7 engine. I have done a compression test on it. I get 150-160 across the cylinders when warm and at WOT. I am at a high altitude of 5000 feet, so these numbers have to be fixed due to less air density. So at sea level I would be getting 170-180 across all cylinders.
Are these good numbers for a completely stock d15b7?
I also did a wet test and all cylinders went up 18-20psi. I have read not to worry about rings until it gives a difference of 40psi or more. But 20 psi seems like a lot. Is this ok?
Just in case anyone was wondering, I used a 4500 feet altitude correction which is 0.880.
