Icon2 Problem with Headlights or Other

Hi everyone.

I am a new member and I am horribly insufficient at anything mechanical. I own a 96 Honda Civic DX and I had installed chrome halo projector headlights with the help of a friend back in June of this year. I haven't been having much issues with them until quite recently.

Over the course of 4 weeks I had three low-beam bulbs burn out on me and one that sort of split at the base of the glass where it meets the metal on the bulb. Two of the three bulbs burned out on the right passenger side while the one burned on the left. The split bulb happened on the left as well. When I had replaced the bulbs I wore gloves.

I don't know what's going on. I don't know if the bulbs are the problem, if the headlights themselves are the problem or if there's some other issue happening elsewhere. Whether it's electrical or there's too much heat. I don't know. If you can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it and if you have any questions further regarding my extremely annoying problem please don't hesitate to ask.

Dielectric grease. Are you using it?

I don't think so. Do you recommend that I use it?
