96 Civic Clock spring/cable reel
I need to take my car in for inspection by the end of the month, but my horn doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it is the clock spring/cable reel that is the culprit. My horn doesn't work, SRS light is on, and cruise doesn't work. My only problem now is finding a clock spring/cable reel to replace my old one with.
The only non-used one (I've heard going used doesn't always work) I've found is an OEM for $285. I was hoping to find one in the $125 range. Is it okay to get a used clock spring/cable reel? Or does anyone know where to find a new one for cheaper?
