Default My new ej hatch gloss yellow full wrap

Picked up a project for cheap, needs body work, decided to go for a full wrap
Mods :
B20Vtec
Tanabe coils
ce28 15x6.5, swapped to 15x8 6ULs
aem intake, jg edelbrock header, apex ws2 exhaust
personal steering wheel, nrg quick release, skunk2 shift **** short shifter
jdm sir cluster, stanley clear headlights and tails, vis cf hood, aero catch hood pins
missing some others
how it sits when picked up

a more clear pick taken by the shop, before wrap:

Paints are REALLY BAD on this car, previous owner used one day paint job,
and trying to sand it down himself for a repaint, but only did it like half

wrap in process, paint felling of,,by just wiping it, DRY

Sanded everything down, new shoes on, vinyl on

and after a week of sanding and wrapping, it is done

This came out way better than I expected, and way cheaper than a repaint
May do a B16a swap next, new seats etc
Located in SoCal, spot me

That looks awesome!

On a scale of one to ten, how hard was it to learn and apply the wrap?

It came out pretty good. If you don't mind me asking what front lip is that, and how much was the wrap?

that was just a mugen rep lip, they did a special cutting on the wrap, cost less than 1.5k

well they do look pretty good in person, would update some shitty iphone pics later on. It all depends on the material, I use the 3M one which should last for a 5-7 years with a professional job done, also depends on the original paint condition on the car itself

i don't understand, why not just paint the car? So What is like having red door jams and a red engine bay?

Because paint aint cheap and this is a quick solution while saving money for a real good paint job. I may have not gone with the yellow its definitely going to make the red door jams and bay stand out.

yep considering a decent whole car paint job may cause around 3K, i would rather save up those $ for parts, for the door jams, they can also be wrapped, but I plasti dipped them in flat black, and does looks good, nothing red can be seen except the engine bay but it didn't bother me at all since it's not a show car anyways, im just going for a cheaper and more durable way for a better look, if you can have the extra $ to repaint the whole car then y not

found some door jams pics, dipped in black before wrap, just to make sure nothing red can be seen
