Post spray Rear main seal with brake clean?????

i recently installed a brand new oe rear main seal for my D16z6 motor. my buddy told me that i didn't need to grind any thing on the block because it didn't hit. so i put everything back together .

i took all bottom pan/ oil/ seals out because i had to recheck the eagle rods clearance. it didn't hit or anything but the machinist told me that he could inspect it. i got it inspected and he told the motor wasn't hitting now but when the motor is running it might hit. to be safe he did the eagle notching block for me.

then i put everything back and came to reuse the seal. i removed the silicones on the rear main seal housing cover where the seal is mounted on.
got everything super clean etc.

some silicone got stuck in the outer and inner part of the seal. there where lube so it was stuck in the inner parts of the seal. fml.

i got some non clorinated green brake kleen brand and sprayed some fast on the outer and the inner part of the REAR MAIN SEAL. i assumed it was okay becasue it wasn't the stronger brake kleen red can that the auto parts guy said. to remove the excess lube and stuck silicone on it.

i got a rag and wiped it. i then used a blow gun right after to blow the crap out.

re installed and etc.

Does BRAKE KLEEN F**k seals up???
did anybody ever had to use some brake kleen on the rear main seals.
its plastic and don't know if i should chance

motor is out on an engine stand ready to be put in.

but im still wondering if i should run this seal. that brake kleen has been on.
is this seal okay.

brake parts cleaner and or carb cleaner hardens up oil seals.

if its a new oil seal, feel it for any hardening, if its still soft and pliable, you can go ahead and reuse it.

if you dont feel right about it, i would go ahead and purchase another oil sael and replace it.

here at the shop we use silicone oil (denso brand) and usually coat the oil seal lip and outer part, makes pressing the oil seal easier and prevents any damage to the rubber.

okay i use a silicone brand for lubing up the seals to.
also i got a question the seal somehow felt kind of soft is that not a bad thing. im still worried though.
its already installed and i noticed the op part of the outer lip in the crankshaft seals looks like it have a slight gap.

i inserted a small piece of paper folded in half and than it slightly fits in between the lip. between the crank shaft. i slide the paper all around to the bottom part of the lip and it seems like it drags harder. the top part feels very loose.

i placed the paper like a feeler gauge in between. is that normal???

the top part have a slight larger gap than the bottom???

im assuming its like gravity or something but im worried that if its the affect from the brake kleen i sprayed or something.

wtf???/

harder.
