My car had been dying everytime i would drive it for the last 2 weeks,conclusion was a bad icm , changed the whole distributor instead, now my car won't die but my CEL is on now, I do my regular maintenance on it, and overall my engine seems and sounds to be running smooth ? What could be happening?

 

you never mentioned what cel it is so how the hell would we know?

Considering the run-on sentence, and complete lack of any relevant information, no, I don't think he was kidding.

First off, year and trim are necessary. Make and model not so much, since you're on a Honda board, in the Civic section. Second off, you can't just say "I have a CEL" and magically expect us to know what it is. Read the FAQ's sticky. There's a section there for how to pull CELs. Post what you pull, and we can work from there.

 

Until you post the CEL, year, model, mods, ECU. We can not help you.
