Hello everybody, I have just purchased a 96 DX Hatchback and one of the manual mirrors needs to be replaced which is no big deal but after looking I have noticed that I can get brand new silver housed mirrors that happen to match my car exterior instead of black mirrors. So my question is can I buy an electric mirror like this one, and place my manual parts in so I do not have to put in all the electrics for the switches. Did a quick search and have not come up with anything. Thanks for your help.

 

you can't use a sedan mirror on a coupe/hatch.

Thanks guys for the response. PM sent Marvin. Am now just deciding weather to be cheap and get a 15 dollar black mirror. Also am wondering if it is possible to take the color matched mirrors off a coupe and swap the electrics out for the manual internals.
