Can anyone help me out with locating this problem?

"Power steering leak near rack and pinion"

I'd prefer to do this on my own and I can do basics but I don't know if this is something I can do. I don't know where or what the rack and pinion are to be honest

anyone have any ideas?

 

That isn't a whole lot to go off of? I am guessing this was written on your multipoint inspection sheet? The power steering pump itself isn't too far from the rack so its a possibility that it is blowing back towards the rack while driving.... but we need a little bit more info to help out. Which side? etc...
