Hi,i am experiencing a very bad gas mileage with my b18c4,i have changed several basic parts like,msd coil,new cap and rotor,new spark plugs,map sensor,tps,iat,ect but still running poorly on low rpm.I even scanned the ecu recently,no sensor faults were found,the o2 sensor voltage varies from 0.1-0.9 at idle,it keeps fluctuating,i don't know if its normal.

Engine specs b18c4,ITR ecu,b16b cams,skunk2 intake manifold.

If anyone can suggest me the what could be done to solve this problem,it would be much appreciated,thank you.

 

Well we discover that valve clearance was out of specification IN 0.007'' and EX 0.012'' and according to manual it is supposed IN 0.007'' and EX 0.008''.So we adjust it to the correct specification and now the engine is less noisy and it consumes less gas but engine response has reduced.Is that normal?

 

as long as everything is in spec and no codes are shown, you are good to go
