i have a 92 accord 4 door and when i turn on my lights, my front parking, headlights work but my rear running lights do not. my brake lights and reverse lights DO work. do i need to replace a wiring harness or something, if so which one. i was told there is a main harness under the back dash drivers side that i should replace, is this accurate?... please help i work nights and cant afford to get pulled over!

 

Does your interior light work?

 

Do you have a volt meter and some time? I've see a few of the 4th gens have a connection issue out of the headlight switch.

 

yes my interior light works, no i dont have a volt meter but can get one!

 

It will help. Need to see if "power" is making it to the rear running lights or not.

well i know some kind of power is making it to them, my brake lights and turn signals work. just no running lights, every other light that is on this car works except the running lights while im driving down the road, people behind me cant see me unless i press the brake. i am thinking of just replacing the wiring harness under the riverside back dash right by the speaker. i was told that was bad but i am not seeing how something that trivial could be causing a problem like this. i am not so good with the wiring of vehicles!
