Default Tire question

Hey there, i drive a 2003 honda civic ex and live in northern ontario where the snow is bad.

I was wondering, because i have to buy new winter tires, if I put studs in my two fronts only, will it effect my driving OR if i am studding, stud all four tires ?

Please let me know which is better, thanks a lot!!

Yes it will effect your traction, put studs on all fours this is the same case with any tire. from what i gave read on the interwebs studs are not as good as a winter tire like blizaaks on moderate packed snow or pavement, studs do excel in icy conditions

Default Re: Tire question

Without matching studded tires on the rear axle, there is a very real risk of the car experiencing oversteer on ice (resulting in a spin that would be difficult to catch). For liabilty reasons we will not sell just two studded snows (and most installers would refuse to install just two) unless you are matching all four.

We have a braod range of tech articles regarding snow tires here for reference !
