Default Intake studs.

So I have a Blox intake manifold with a Golden Eagle intake manifold gasket. I know they make kits for these..but is there a draw back into using only bolts? I know getting the gasket to stay in place when installing the intake manifold will be a little bit of a hassle...but besides that...is there a mechanical draw back to using only bolts?

Thanks for any replies.

no, no drawback unless you overtorque a bolt and damage the threads in the head. using studs just ensures the head never gets damaged, because you can always replace a damaged stud

Soft aluminum threads vs. Steel bolt....

If you dont plan on removing it often, then its fine. But the more you remove it, the more likely you are to strip the aluminum threads.
