Default Intake Air Temp. Sensor (IAT) conversion?

I've got a 97 coupe with a boosted JDM d15b swap, I was wondering if there was a way to use the IAT sensor on my intake manifold vs the one that would normally go on the intake itself. I've been searching and can't seem to find anything about it. Thanks in advance.

Don't. Research something called heatsoak.

Just solder the round connector on, wire order doesn't matter.

Heat. Soak. You don't want the sensor in the IM.
