96 Accord EX, Trying to DIY and cannot identify part...
I recently bought a car after not having a license or one (legally) for almost a decade. Im finally legal, got me a 800$ accord with 156k on it and im having a bit of a problem. I don't know my head from my tail when it comes to mechanics....

what is this part?!?!
also think a temporary fix could be done with some JB Weld?
Pic. You can see the crack in this metal pipe coming from the passenger side of the motor. I just replaced the radiator and no more leaks arose from there only the pipe. I am thinking that when my last radiator crapped out, I blew a hole/crack whatever in the pipe. Is this pipe replaceable by a hose as I've heard in some common google searches (go ahead and laugh its my main source of info on cars rofl) that's more reliable? Its clearly leaking antifreeze...and only leaks it (I think) once its been running a bit.
PM or post here im new but intend to stick around after the majority of all my googled issues end up here.
-sincerely a computer guy wishing he grew up before they existed and had a real trade that helps on the side of the highway

I've come to the conclusion that it has to be a hose. Its not even a metal pipe... Radiator hose? Heater valve hose? (naming stuff Ive been suggested in this vicinity)
Only main question is if it IS the radiator hose is it the upper or the lower? (Im assuming lower if the hose from radiator with thermostat is on the top part, but im lost obviously)
edit:
updated photo. sorry so small, but outlined in red where the rubber hose popped and began melting or whatever.
This is goofy. Not factory.
There are two main radiator hoses, a short S shaped one that goes from the top of the radiator to the outlet facing the radiator. In your provided picture it is the outlet with the green sensor on it.
The other radiator hose goes from the intake manifold on the other side of the engine(firewall side) makes a 90° turn towards the radiator over the transmission then turns down 90° to attach to the bottom of the radiator.
You will need to take a larger picture to show what that metal tube with a nipple is going to. And the wad of goo looks like a blob of RTV on the distributor cap.

The picture is kind of bad.
I enlarged the picture a little. The metal pipe looks to be the A/C suction pipe; but, with a cap that does not look OEM.
It does look like some blob of RTV sealant under the distributor cap area; but, from the bad picture, can't really make out what is it trying to seal. The heater hose is under the distributor area, a little on the left side; however, can't tell if that blob is for the heater hose or something else.

Well I finally figured out the mystery, sorry for the slow response I spent the day under the sun and hood. Ha. Turns out to be a heater core hose. Went to advanced, bought some 5/8 hose with a 90degree angle (just to make sure it will make it with the bend) for 12 bucks, some clamps for 3 bucks and forever in the sun and im all smiles not a drop leaking!!!!
Yeah, camera phone gives you very little depth can barely tell what im looking at and I took the pic! Thanks guys, /close
