Default Bogus VX 02 sensor?

I may write a book on my VX motor into CX swap, what a pain!
Anyway "ol dusty" gave me some good advice and when I went out to do more wiring, I noticed that my NTK 5 wire 02 sensor, labelled 24300 & A7B4B1, on a white sticker on the box. On the actual sensor; LZA09-E1 with "NTK Japan" below it, and on one of the 6 faces for the wrench it's marked "1T51", the wires coming out of it are, (at the plug), right to left; blue, yellow, with grey below, white, black. From what I've seen this is different from the; NCA(?), white, red, white, black, orange, yellow, wire colours I saw for this sensor on another site. Did I get the wrong 02 sensor?, can I still use it by substituting colours?, do I have to buy another one?
Thanks for your help:confused:

Replacement O2 sensor wires almost never match OEM coloring.

Everyone calls the VX a 5 wire but it's actually 7.

On the sensor side the stock colors are:

yel/blk
blk
org/blu
org
wht/blu
wht
grn/wht

"Technically" it's an 8 pin plug with 7 wires. Not sure what that "two pins connected to some resistor or some such" is supposed to mean. Techno speak? Ever looked at a FSM for it? Pretty clearly shows 7 wires on several pages.

Edit: To add the 96-00 HX is also refered to as a "5 wire" which is also incorrect. It's the same as the VX, 8 pin plug with 7 wires.

Wow, such misplaced confidence. This suggests to me you haven't actually looked at a 5-wire O2 sensor, and observed that there are actually only 5 wires (count 'em) that emerge from the sensor, at the manifold. If you don't know what "two pins connected to some resistor or some such" is supposed to mean, then I suggest when you do have one in your paws, examine how there is a resistor built-in inside the connector, between the YEL/BLK and BLK wire from the main wire harness.

Thanks for your replies.
I'ld be SO relieved if I don't have to buy another one!
The question is how can I match up the colours I've got with the colours of the original on the wiring diagram? Is the order they're in in the plug, match the other side of the plug? I'm wiring everything into the CX wiring harness, to the P07 ECU, I know I'll be "hard" wiring some things, like EGR, (and controls), VTEC, 02 sensor. My brain hurts!
