tinting / painting corner lights....
whats up, i have a set of " crystal clear " corners on my 95 coupe and I installed some strobes in there from my stunna days anyways when sealing around the wires to keep the water out i guess i didn't an A+ job if you know what i mean, NEways the chrome in the corner light is wearing and fading away, secondly im gettin a set of BLACK halo Projector lights, to match my BLACK Coupe,
I would like to work with what i got... Should I
A. heat them up pry the lense off and prime and paint the housing.
B. Heat them up pry off the lense and tint the inside of the Lense.
TIA

do you think the tint will hide that the chrome is fading plus I have Piaa Hyper white blinkers and now they will not be seen
So you think painting the housing is no good ?

those look ghetto. I don't think you should tint them. Get Krylon Stained Glass black paint if they have it, and paint the inside. If not, then smoke them with regular Krylon flat black.

Cheap clears for $12-$15 and go to the store and get whatever stained glass paint you want and go to work
My painted clears look amberific.

i saw a dude with an accord who painted the inside lenses on the rear. The part that is on the trunk lid. He did a clean job, it looks good. But I don't think I could bring my self to do it. I would do what most people do and go to the autoshop and buy some window tint and use that. At least you can get it off if it looks gay.
