Hi all,

maybe someone already encountered himself in this situation before.
I have a accord 99 USA version, and i'm not able to find a replacement part for the rear tail-light anywhere.

the only result i get on eBay is for a taller model, which will not fit.
please look at the illustration, and anyone who knows where i can find them, let me know...

 

Right side looks UK or European.

 

Confused what you're asking with the lines and arrows but the one on the left is the one you need, those are the stock US tails.

 

^ Australia but I believe EDM style (since their license plates are more rectangular and can't fit on USDM trunk garnishes)

Why do you need the one on the right? Take a picture of your car... if you have a US version and assuming you're in the US, either the previous owner had swapped the trunk from a European accord already. Take a picture of your car and it'd make much more sense for all of us.

 

Yes i know, it might sound confusing. But my car has the same tail as the one on the right. It's untill i bought the part and it arrived i noticed it doesn't fit.

 

My question is now, how do i get my hands on one of these?

Yeah but hold on. If you have a US version then how can you have an Aussie trunk?

Good question, but i don't know the answer. I bought the car 2nd hand, i have no idea how the trunk arrived there. However i still know it's an USA car, since the chassis nr confirms that.

If what you say is true and it's an Australian tail-light set, then I'd recommend you go on an Australian accord forum (maybe mightycarmods forum too since there's lots of Aussies there and hope that one of them can sell and ship you a set.

You really should clarify everything before making any other decisions though.

 

Could have been transported to Europe via the Military and changed trunks for some odd reason.
