Default dizzy problem?

okay, so CRX(D15b2) is still running extremely rich and misfiring, and now i am getting massive power loss once I hit ~3k RPM.
it idles at around 1.1k RPM at warm.
checked my EACV replaced both the water hoses to it because one had a hole in it.
checked my FPR and its working fine
swapped for a PM5 ECU that i had recently acquired(if anyone needs a PM5, PM6, or PR4 ECU let me know I have multiple for sale)
nothing changed so I pulled my dizzy cap and there was this yellow-ish looking fluid that looked like clean, brand new, oil, which my car doesnt have right now, its a tad dirty, so i pulled my dizzy off, cleaned off my points, my dizzy cap from the yellow stuff, and cleaned off my rotor put it all back in and my idle didnt jump as much and didnt run /as/ rich. but now its running really rich, just as bad if not worse than before, and its like it puts itself into limp mode since there mass power loss at 3k+. checked the ECU and the only code i get is a VSS code which doesnt really bother me all that much because it wouldnt effect the richness, idle, or misfire at all...

so my question is:
would/could my dizzy be the source of all my problems and if so, should i replace my entire dizzy or just my rotor/cap?

Sounds like a distributor issue to me. Is it a new distributor? Or did this start randomly? Iv ordered 2 reman dists from ebay and both were crap. This sounds like the issue I had with my first ebay dist...

Well, I know VSS disables VTEC obd0 engines. Don't know anything as far as that. Seems like your dizzy is trashed unless if you have other things going on. Did, you put the car into limp mode by using a paperclip on the two prong plug under your passenger dash before timing your dizzy? Might help. AFter that, disconnect battery for a minute, and reconnect and see what happens. good luck otherwise

It probably won't fix your immediate problem, but fixing your VSS code will help your fuel consumption.
Any code that the ECU throws has some effect on the performance of your engine.
