92 accord fuel pressure regulator
When I turn key to on,fuel pressure is 40 psi, check engine light goes off and pressure drops to zero almost instantly.I put a new pressure regulator on,and it does the same thing and won't stay running.I took the return hose off and turn key on,gas flows out of regulator. My question is;is fuel supposed to flow out like this?Car will start, run about 3 or 4 seconds and die.Can anyone figure this out?
it's physically impossible for the fuel pressure to bleed to 0 within a couple seconds unless there's a leak
Can you confirm for a fact that that's exactly what's happening ? Something doesn't sound right.

Allrighty then, car starts, runs about 5 seconds and dies. With fuel pressure gauge hooked up,prime 2 seconds ,40psi,check engine light goes out and pressure drops to 0. All related parts have been replaced.(I know it's not the way to do it) I also know I have a leak in the system, but I can't locate it.Could injectors cause that kind of sudden loss?Thank You
Pull the spark plugs and look for one that is a lot darker than the others. That could point to a leaking/sticking injector.
It might smell more like fuel than the others as well.
