05 Honda Civic dies [NEED HELP]
Hi,
So the other day while i was driving to work my deck just powered off, i did not think much of it so i kept driving on. as i got closer to my work my deck just completely lost power 3 more times. while i was at a stop light idling for about 2 minutes right when the light went green my car completely lost power then gave me a prompt light of DRL which i know just means day time running lights. i quickly threw the car back into park and started it just fine with no problems. that night on my way home from work i was pulling into my community and a good song came on so i decided to crank my subs and upon the first drop (while i was driving) the car powered down again but this time it just rebooted itself while i was driving. i believe it has something to do with the power. the amp i'm running is a 575-600 wtt at 1 ohm or 300-2 ohm which i am using 2 ohm. i have HID lights currently installed too. If anyone can please help that would be much appreciated, i will be taking the car to a mechanic soon here but until then it would be nice to know at least what the heck is going on.
thanks for now!!
Mike

[UPDATE] so i was driving home from work and it did it again, my deck kept dying then while i was driving everything shut off again. the needles of my car speedometer and just about all the others started bobbing up and down. unfortunately i didn't get a video of this but i have god a video of my dash and such shutting off. check this out:
VIDEO
> Toyomatt84 : to answer you i'm pretty sure my ground is fine as i got my good friends dad who is a mechanic to help me set my subs up. he closed his shop early to help me and re-checked everything before i left. he also dealt with the ground i did not even touch it, i can add a picture tomorrow because its already about midnight here. im not saying its impossible but i think its less likely. could it have something to do with my alternator ?

After watching the video, it seems like your alternator is not performing like it should be. Its almost as if the ELD within the alternator is not putting out a consistent amount of current.
