rpf1 question beaten to death
been searching all over the net and on ski.com, s2000.com , youtube, etc. with no luck.
the question is:
does rpf1 17x9 45+mm on hankook ventus rs3 255/40/17 square with about a .75" drop require flaring the fenders? I already know it will need a roll, but I really do not want to flare/pull anything fenders.
Also, is it the front of the rear fenders that need more modification? If i were to roll the fenders, my plans are to clean up the inside really well first removing all the dirt, heat the fender and roll with a fender roller to about a 45 degree. then place a huge bead of silicon caulk all alone the V-shape valley inside and before it finishes curing, roll the rest of the fender to a flush edge. i assume the caulk will fill in any avoids to prevent water from seeping in. use a wet finger to smooth out the caulk where it oozes out. then wheel well spray the edge.

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
I rolled my fronts and had to get adjustable ball joints to get to -3° of camber. Luckily, I needed that much camber anyway. But my car is lower than yours. Depending on your spring rate, you may be fine with just a roll.
My rears are rolled and have the bumper tab relocated. The stock adjusters got me enough camber....around -3.1ish°. Again, luckily, this is what I wanted. Everything always works out for me. Im #1.
17x9 +45 ADVAN RG2. 255/40 hankook RS3. Not too too satisfied with the RS3, though.
