Default templates material

I will be doing some catch cans and surge tanks setups and was wondering what materials are you guys using for these parts. Where can I find some template materials so I can cut them out before making a aluminum pieces.

Cardboard can be quite good for templating parts.

Cereal boxes or poster board paper works great as well.

We use autocad them transfer it to either tin metal or to tag board before water jetting the final product out of the real material.

Sometimes, even when Ive designed a part for a build in solidworks, I still break out the cardboard just to check dimensions and to make sure I can bend it in my brake.
