1991 Honda Accord Dx Brake Lamp stays on

 

try checking all the lights in the trunk and see if all are plugged in. this solved my problem

 

If it stays on without pressure to the pedal, take a look at the armature of the brake pedal. There is a small plastic plug that will break and the switch for the break light then stays up and keeps thee brake light circiut on. To remedy this you can try a piece of plastic over the hole and wrap it with electrical tape. Thats a temporary fix. I used a bolt with a nut and put it through the hole which fixed the problem.
