I'm planning on doing a swap to my 98 gsr which is my project, and I don't know much about k swaping, but I did b series swap once or twice... I did research about the k20/k24 barding and smoging and get a lot of confuse answers... I was planning to do a k20a type r swap at first but I did some readings and it said that it won't pass smog... but they say k24 you will pass smog... so I don't know I can't decided so I need some inputs and opinion... i wanted to be wire tuck and I wonder which motor would give me more power for the track. My budget is 20g so what do you guys think I should do.

 

k24 with a k20a2 head with k20z1 cams. 20k hmm i'd get a used EVO or STI kswap should only run you 5-6K.
