I have seen this posted on here, a lot but my 99 coupe, 2.3 4 cyl, has been having a stalling problem, it is an automatic, (sadly)

Car will idle up to 5 minutes in park, will intermittently sputter and stall or cut out, wait up to 1 minute, crank a few times and eventually start, put it in gear pull away and stall under 500 feet of driving, during time of sputter, i have tried to press gas pedal to bring rpms back up to idle but with no success

will also cut out at speeds 5-65 mph, by cutting out i mean flip a light switch and the light will go out, it seems to do this more than the afforementioned,

i have replaced the basics: distributor cap, rotor, ignitor, plugs, wires, fuel pump, ignition switch replaced not even 10000 miles ago.
i dont want top bury myself with paperwork and money(lack-there-of)

Is the CEL on? Any recent work done to the car?

 

What is the the CEL? Other than an oil change. No recent work done
