I just purchased a set of tl a-spec wheels for my gen 1 CRV. The wheels are 18" and I am trying to figure out what series tire I should go with. My car is still on stock suspension and I don't plan on lowering it anytime soon. So far, I am leaning towards 225/50/18, but was also thinking about 225/45/18. I was wondering what you guys were running and if you could post some pics of your setup. Thanks, I appreciate the help so I can start rocking my new rims.

 

i had my 350z wheels on when my car was stock with 225/45/18 and it was pretty close to stock diameter, i would do that. 50 series might be a bit large, but might look better. the big wheel with stock wheel gap looked a bit weird to me.

 

Yea, that's what I am worried about. I would think that a 45 series tire would make it look really awkward especially at stock height. You don't happen to have any pics of yours, do you?
