Default Broken Buddy Club Short Shifter.

So I was driving yesterday, when I went to shift into 3rd gear I felt something break and nothing. 1st gear and 3rd gear felt like jello. I pulled my center console out and this is what i found.

Should i go with a different brand of short shifter? Is this a common issue? Also does anyone know if BuddyClub guarentees their products? Or has a good contact number?

I looked at those, They are damned proud of it for that price. Thinking of putting the Buddyclub shifter parts into the stock shift housing. My logic is this should work?
