Help with tire size... (dont move to wheels!!! crx related)
What should my offset be on diamond wheels if i want to run a normal tire (not stretching it) or with out crazy camber.. Is it going to ride like ****? rub? i also need to know what tire size i should run... car is a daily with some hooliganism looking to order rims asap
How the wheel sits relative to the car body is dependent on the offset in conjunction with the rims width. Asking for a specific offset without mentioning rim size doesn't paint a complete picture (same goes for the tire size).
An example that may give you an idea of where to base your judgment on which size to get is 15x6 +38 using 195/50 or 205/50. For the most part on a 6in wide rim +35 to +45 seems to be very street friendly and is for the most part standard. Now given that you mention you want to use a "normal" tire the ride quality will really depend on your suspension and have nothing to do with your tires.

Welll i was thinking 15x8 which is why im having these questions? i could shave roll or add flares i guess but i kinda just wanted to drop it off at like tire kingdom or something with the rim so itd be done after i got off work....
as far as tires go im looking for a good performance tire with decent tread life i know the higher performance less life which is why im here looking for shared experiences
