I'm right there with you. I bet you the motor boogies, but I don't know anyone who is going to want a high compression build like that, especially taking someones word for it.
It's got to have some serious low mileage. Also as said appraisal price and selling are two different figures. If it's got low miles no bad history and a is truly fully built, you never know some high roller may offer close to the asking price. It's nice looking, but owned and built by an elderly woman? that's funny.
Pfft, the ITR is nice but the appeal is that it's relatively inexpensive and a great bargain for the out-of-box performance you get. No way someone is paying $40k for one.
And I don't even see $6k worth of parts. All I see is a very clean, stock-ish ITR that should be selling for around $14k.

OH WAIT I remember this car, it was at this year's PA Meat. He claimed 250whp NA or something like that but wouldn't put it on IMW's dyno. He also trailered it in.
At least, if this is the same car I'm thinking of...

For 47.5K, you'd think they could spend a few bucks on professional pictures? I mean, come on, the first, and last pics....are ******* pictures OF pictures?
Seriously? Why not post a WHP number or dyno sheet?
STRAIGHT TURBO BLUE
He claimed 280whp, but refused to put it on my dyno....
Guy was kind of a ****, too. Made a comment about how he could never let anyone younger than him tune a car... Because age has everything to do with the quality of a tune.
