Hi my Civics SRS light is on. Ive tried reseting it but it just comes straight back on. Ive pulled it into the computer and the only error code it brings up is P1298 which is for the load detector. Are these two faults linked ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

 

look up how to jump the code from the obd2 plug. pretty sure you put a paper clip in pins 4 and 9 (double check) it will give you a series of flashes. if you live in the us (guessing you do), srs components are guarenteed for life or replaced for free if you havent been in an accident.
