so ive seen the oem wing and people doing eg duckbills but what else can you use and if you can post a picture

 

I have never seen a the duckbill on a CRV. I wound how that would work. I've seen one online of a small wing on the back on one.

 

There was a guy that did it to his crv, LDFORGET tried it as well

 

i tried a EG SI hatch wing before i got my OEM one...all i did was **** **** up. lol doesnt fit right at all.

 

I want an OEM one

i did the eg hatch duckbill on the first gen. it needs some modding but i think it looks better then oem even tho it over hangs the taillight about half and inch to an inch. this is my test fit

 

 

I wish there was a write up for installing a duckbill

 

since the eg has like mount areas all i did was grind them out. epoxied a strip of plastic in so that whole mounting ares would be flat. cut out little holes so i could epoxy mount nuts in it. then measured it out, drilled and bolted it in place. i also used a little double sided tape just because haha. its not that hard. if you order it up and take a look at how the bill looks you should be able to figure it out.

 

What wing is that on the black crv? Looks like yours goes out a little further onto taillights... the black one doesnt

 

Also on the black one, it's sitting higher at the back more, so that's what is making it stay off the lights, and sit more like how it would on a EG.

Man I wish I never sold my carbon fiber duckbill I had last year.

 

Oh yah youre right.. man what wing is that exactly.. unless its just the angle? I dont know.. or maybe he had it trimmed on the edges..

 

Actually its not the angle. It definitely has more of an angle to the wing itself.

 

that was a test fit so it was not exactly lined up. pluss i just taped it up there so it is drooping down a little so it has a bad angle.

 

On the black one its a eg duckbill as well

 

Duckbill wing on the black CR-V looks pretty clean.

That's not horrible.. And would be relatively subtle if paint-matched.
