Default how to drop a d15 in an 89 si?

hey guys im in a pinch and need some advice. my 89 si i bought has a rod knocking im going to build an z6 to drop in but for now.... im being offered a d15 out of a same era car thats been rebuild and am wonder if it will just drop in? its a buddies and he said i just need to take the manifold and injectors of my a6 to make it work? how accurate is that? thanks in advanced for any assistance

Perfectly accurate. Just use only the new longblock.

keep your manifolds, distributor, flywheel and clutch. drop it in and go

idk the butt dyno in my hatch said my old oil chugging d15 was a lot peppier with mpfi swap, a6 cam with y8 cam gear (to make up the cam offset) and an si trans than my a6z6 hyrbid swap i replaced it with
