Vtec crossover is wierd
Hey guys I have a gsr with LS crank and b16 pistons, and it has 6000 miles on it. I've notice the vtec doesn't "pop" when it engages as I have heard on b16s h22s and Ds....is this because I'm running an aftermarket intake mani with no butterfly's ? Let me know if this is normal or not thanks guys
AFTER RESPONSE ....it's because no butterfly's
Idk morningZ I've been looking around the Internet and what it's sounds like is you can still hear the vtec come in....not saying you are wrong but I'm starting to question whether my vtec is engaging at all...IF vtec comes in it does extremely smooth you can't hear a difference in tone but you can just hear a different noise added around 6500 not to sound stupid lol "different noise added"

In the end the exhaust play the biggest part in how much you "HEAR" it, it was ear splitting when I had my buddy club spec 2
now not so much with my skun2
. Any cel (21,22) ?. no it wouldn't affect the "FEEL" with no IAB's what ECU/chipped ?
