Default Winter Project: 2002

Received my engine from http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/ (b18b) and my prject begins. I'm basically stripping it down right now, taking off the useless stuff (hoses, wiring harness, switching trannies, etc.) for now. Hopefully i'll win the lottery over the winter and buy myself some goodies at the same time.

Honda-Tech is great and full of geniuses, so being quite the idiot you'll probably see a few posts for help. Thanks alot guys, i'm almost scared to say i wouldn't even consider a swap if i didn't know a board like Honda-Tech was there for me, maybe i'd like blinking lights more than performance, who knows! hehe

O, how is Osaka to deal with? Are they a good company? Quality shipping? Good customer service?

b18b Euro Spec Integra.

Not b18b1 just b18b by itself.

Cool it came with an automatic tranny so you know that it was not abused. Are you going to use a GSR tranny?

Is that the longblock that they are selling on the site? Or did you get the full swap?

That's not a Longblock. It has a transmission.

Doesn't mean a thing. A lot of people "shift" their autos.

Yes, I would also pretty please like to hear about your experience with Osaka. If everything with them is kosher, then I could have my swap about 6 months quicker than anticipated. Good luck with the swap

they were great, requested the engine, had it 3 days later (i only live 3 hours from the place). Their service was great, Mark was always there to let me know it was on its way. Shipping was FAST, since they shipped it 2nd day.

the engine came in perfect condition, nothing broken, even the valve cover was still perfect. I got the auto tranny but i'm still waiting on the 5spd, or even a GSR, not sure yet.

Overall experience A++++

I would definately go with them again if i wanted to swap. I highly recommend this company. You can't beat their prices, and i'm sure they'll back up their engine if you end up getting a bad one, which i doubt!

Wow thats great!!!

What are your ideas for performance mod's?
I saw P30 pistons should go in before you swap the motor
