Hi I need help with a problem. My wife's 96 Honda Accord LX has oil leaking around the spark plug. We have replaced all the valve cover gaskets. Including the 4 o rings under the rocker arm. My question is why would it still be leaking? My brother in law asked a honda mechanic and he thought most likely thought that something might be warped. Any ways looking for some ideas as to what might be wrong before I go into the mechanic, any help would be great.

 

Forgot to say it has almost 146,000 miles.

 

you replaced all 8 orings (4 under rocker arm and 4 at the top of the spark plug tubes) ?

 

I have the same problem with my 94 Accord LX, 275K. I've heard there's gaskets under the cam shaft that can cause the same problem, if you've replaced the ones above already. But I'm a noob, so would love to know if you get it solved, since I'm in the same boat.

 

I have the same problem. Found it last night while changing the plugs, lines, distrib cap.
