I jus bought a 97 ek with a d15b2 in it. It looks like they did a mpfi swap on It already... but it sucks.. it only picks up speed over 3000rpms and after driving for a while on the highway the rims drop. I have to keep downshifting to pick up speed. I thought it
Was the tps because it was broken when I bought it, so I replaced it and adjusted it to .5 closed And 4.5v WOT... and it did nothing to fix the problem. .
Could anyone help me. I'm trying to get this car on the road asap. I been drivin around a automatic lx and its depressing lol

Your ek would have already been MPFI although the B2 doesn't come with it but putting a dpfi setup in the car would be so far from probable it's doubtful they did. Like earlier posters said, check engine lights and ecu?
