Default VTEC Light

Can someone tell me how to make a VTEC light like the ones sold on EBAY?

Thanks!

*shrugs* if he wants little flashy lights, I say let him go right ahead

Personally I think that if you need a light to tell VTEC is kicking in you've got problems...

What's the big deal with wanting a cool VTEC light? I don't need it to know when VTEC has been activated...I can hear it. And now with my CTR cams, I can also FEEL it.

I just like the idea of a blue led in my dash. The theme of my black 'rex is silver and blue highlights. In the interior, the exterior the engine bay and the accesories - including neon. I've got close to 10k invested in the engine/trans and power mods but my B16 hybrid also LOOKS GOOD and wins trophies at the auto shows

There weren't as many people to flame back then. The Kills forum was much harsher than it is now however.

If you don't know the Vtec wire for your specific model vehicle you will need to locate that before hand, then you hook up a led to run it off the ECU and hook it to ground, nothing more then that. Yes, I had/have a vtec light I use this as my means of it's almost time to shift or bounce of my fuel cutoff. So long as I have my own reason for them, all the comments about it, I couldn't give two ----

What you want is your own preference so don't be swayed nor discouraged by outside influences.

Wow, logic at it's best, almost like Kevin Bacon in Sleepers stating he did what he did to those boys to make them tough

Hey thanks to all those who supported me.

I got two good links and a quick and dirty answer from the thread. This is what makes HT worth it. In the long run, you 'll always get an answer even if you have to put up with some bashing. I don't agree with it but I've learned to put up with it.
