Default Best Race Header for the price ?

What would be the most bang for the buck race headers for my 03 ep3 K20a3? I plan to swap in a K2a2 in the near future. Thanks.

If I go with the OBX headers and I have K-Pro I believe I don' need a defouler. But is a defouler necessary to keep my o2 from getting destroyed?

defoulers are only needed for the secondary o2. if you have kpro you can disable it.

DO NOT use a defouler on the primary

I know I can disable it in K-Pro....BUT....
If I don't use a defouler on the secondary o2 sensor will the headers destroy the secondary o2 sensor?

Bingo! If not, expect to shell out over $1000 for an ASP, SSR, Hytech, or SMSP header.

Anyone like the K-tuned Ram Header? If so, have any dyno data or testing showing results? They sure talk it up on the website...

If you are planning a swap wait till you have the A2 in and then get a header... Skunk2 Alpha header has been a strong performer in terms of power out put!

Is that the K-Tuned ram header? If so please post a link where to get it from, thanks.
AND I have the K24a2 swapped in and am running OBX V2 RH's and they hit the undercarriage. Will the K-Tuned ram header hit?

on stock to mild modified engine Skunk2 header will give you best powerband, and quality header on the market

I did test on special build header by Hytech and ASP in the past for k20z3, and skunk2 did the exact same power, on the exact same engine, all those done the same day

All depending how much you want to spend, of douse brands like asp are pretty up there in price but you can find them used for a decent price. Not sure what brands exactly fit for your car though.

UPADTE:
After install of OBX V2 RH and K24 swap mid pipe was resting on the under carriage and making lots of noise. After looking at it on a lift there is 1 spot under the passenger seat where it hits. A little hitting and bending upwards on that small spot of the under carriage and it doesn't hit or make any more noise. They do open up the exhaust and add to the overall performance sound. So as of now I would have to say I'm very pleased with the OBX V2 headers. They are Comptech replicas and a good bang for the buck.
