Dizzy Coil Question
All,
I have an '89 CRX with an OBD0 JDM B16A in it. Recently, I have been getting a good bit of hesitation/sputtering upon decel and very rarely while accelerating. (Only happens after being warmed up) I have read various articles stating it is probably one of the windings of the coil (TC-05A) going bad. Does anyone have an idea about a good resource site when I can find resistance specs etc on the coil so I can bench test it? Also, local parts houses around here are unable to cross reference that particular part number but I have read that the coil from the a6 and also a 90-91 teg could interchange with it. Could anyone confirm/deny this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

An OBD0 90-93 Integra LS (B18A1) distributor will work on that motor. You need to remove one of the legs from the distributor to get it to bolt to the head, due to the VTEC solenoid.
Just google away until you find the specs. I'm not sure of a website that has those readily available.

Not looking to replace entire dizzy, just the coil. Hence why I asked about the coil specs etc. I have tried Google, downloading a service manual for a CRX SiR, searching threads in various forums, all with no luck. Is anyone able to confirm/deny that the coil from the D16A6/90-91 Teg interchanges with the TC-05A. <------That is the part number embossed on the coil inside the dizzy.
