Default questions on tranny parts from prelude for a cd5

hey everyone i have a cd5 auto which im planning to do a stick shift conversion but been looking for all the parts to do it. right now im talking to this guy which has a whole complete prelude which he is parting out and im wondering if the parts from prelude could be used to do the conversion on my cd5. can anyone help me on this questions?

Really about the shifter, cables, and motor parts is all you would be able to use. There are tons of threads (including my own) covering the parts you need. Do some of your own research. You also didn't include any information about what year or model Prelude.

well the tranny i already have it but i just everything else to do the conversion. the prelude is a 96 and my question is if i take parts from the prelude would it work for my cd5 or is it better if i look for another cd5 being parted?

Go to a junk yard and find one? I already told you, the shifter and cables are the only things you could use.

If the clutch and flywheel are still there and in good condition you can use those as well.
