2000 Honda Accord EX V6 - No Low beams?
Well....my first post. Alright, this car was bought as a downgrade due to my wife's job changing due to pay cuts. Lame. It has a salvage title due to some front end damage it suffered but the car is very surprisingly clean for it's age and everything "appears" to be fixed. We have had it for about 2-3 weeks. It spent a week in the shop getting new A/C lines (damaged from the wreck) Compressor (seized up), expansion joint, a serpentine belt and a power steering belt. We got it out this past Friday. The A/C isn't quite right yet but we needed the car. The shop will be on vacation all this week so it will go back for more A/C work when they get back.
On our way home this evening around 7 I noticed that one of the low beams was out. When I got home I pulled the bulb from the headlight (didn't touch it) and it looked ok. I pulled the bulb from the side that was working to compare it and it looked ok. When I turned the lights back on, to my surprise NEITHER headlight came on. Both high beams came on when I tried them though. All fuses and relays under the hood are good. Are there any fuses on the drivers side fuse box related to the headlights?
On my way home from work tomorrow I guess I will pick up a couple of low beam bulbs to try...
Thanks for the help Honda-Tech!

Did you ever get closure to this? I am not trying to hijack this post, but since I can't post yet.... I need some help here. So I have a 96 Accord Ex Coupe. My wife had a fender bender in the front drivers side had damage. The headlight on the drivers side was totally crushed in.
That being said, I have slowly pieced the car back together. At this point I have the headlights in. I went ahead and tested the headlights. The parking lights work when turned on. When I turn on the high beams, both sides work fine. When I turn on the low beams, nothing. When I do this, it actually turns off the parking lights also. Checked the bulbs, and changed them out just for S&G's. Nothing. I checked the fuses, and they are fine. I had the headlights on when I pulled the fuses and when I did, the low beams came on... I am wondering if it might be a relay for the headlights.. Any suggestions. I think maybe when the car was in the accident, and when the headlight got smashed in, the relay might have gone....
