Those things taht measure your speed in the street are never accurate...its not 5mph like that its more like .1 heh

 

It all depends upon which tires you purchase...some cause you to be off by more than others, variances between manufacturers.

Why the hell you driving without you seatbelt on?

and is that you maintenance light that is on too.

 

Seatbelt was off temporarily to move the seat back enough for the camera to focus on the speedo.

I'm a huge proponent of seatbelt use (I work in an ER...)

No maintence light on... Just the seatbelt and cruise control lights...

i'm riding on stock tires, and when i drove by one of those things at 25 on my speedo, the radar thing read 22. you can't be sure those radar thingees are accurate. i think the difference in tire size only accounts for about 2% of the discrepancy.

Duh thats what that is cruise control. hehe and yeah you are getting good mpg I would be pretty close to half tank. damb performance. hahha

 

that mileage is insane. my gauge is off though, i think. I usually get to the half mark at 100 miles. but when i fill up, the gauge is almost at the E, and it only takes 8-9 gals.

 

why are is u'r RPM at 3500 when u'r going 40 mph ?? on cruise control 2 .... hmm??

i find that my fuel gauge shows that i get over 250km (JDM gauge) for a half tank and only 150 for the second half...so its grossly inaccurate, i think that the only thing that works near enough to accurate is the fuel light, the gauge is justa rough (very rough) indicator!

BTW what gear were you in...3rd???

 

i am asking why is the rpm high when u'r on cruise control going 35 mph .. shouldn't it be below 2500 when u'r just cruising at 35 mph .. seems to me the rpm is a little too high ..

 

whats wrong with 3500 rpms at 40?

 

even if it is off.. its not be much. nothin to trip off of.

You can't really tell if you're getting good mpg or not until you get down below the halfway mark. On my last tank I got over 380 miles! I also put in about 11.5 gallons!
