Post Intake man n TB

I have a 01 gsr n I'm wondering if a stock type r manifold n tb would fit., More so if it would even be worth doing vs paying 350+ for a new brand manifold. Advice?

Just buy a bloc manifold for 100$ for a gsr thy works better than the gsr one.
And use the same tb or buy a bigger one.

stick to the question!
no the itr manifold will not fit on a gsr head they both have different bolt pattern, they are only interchange with the b16 head.

how do you know that for sure that it work better? the gsr intake manifold was design for low and midrange something the blox does not have, it does perform better at top end but you have to realize even blox say it a slight increase in power but for a small price, depending on which route and mods op is making will determined which intake manifold has the right amount of cfm flow to use for his purpose.

He is wanting to spend 350$ on a manifold when the blox is around 100$.
I advised him that blox was cheaper and still performed well, it has good air flow even though it does not have the iab like the gsr.
Sounds like he already has a gsr manifold. He is wanting to upgrade, my assumption.

Well considering the blox/skunk2 intake manifolds are essentially ported out ITR manifolds I see nothing wrong with his suggestion.... the loos in low end is not noticeable.

the performer X and Skunk2 ultra series are good intake manifolds

there is no best just what would work for you.

for me if turbo
any whp to 375whp stock intake manifold (be smart save the money it get the job done on the right setup)
375+whp edelbrock victor x (best bang for the buck for top end power)

for all motor no intake manifold for me strictly itb.
