Default Cat/Exhaust on '96 CX hatch

I swapped in a USDM b18b1 not too long ago, and since I live in California, I'm going to have to get it BARD pretty soon. I know I need all stock parts, but since I'm relocating my cat, I'm confused as to how it's going to fit. If I use the stock exhaust manifold/downpipe from the b18, and use a 96-00 ex cat, will it all fit up with my stock exhaust system on my CX? Thanks.

It will either bolt right up or have a 2" ish gap depending on what year exhaust manifold you have. I think you need a 98-01 one. The 94-97 stock header is shorter

Alright, now my problem is trying to find someone in California that's willing to sell me a catalytic converter...

Do they sell them at the junkyard?

Remember you need the whole exhaust, as the CX has that stupid cat-header piece. youd want a 96-00 civic EX catback, as its muffler and downpipe are bigger. the cat and header's collecter are the same on an LS integra and EX civic, but last i checked, the flange was tilted just a little bit, so its not a 100% bolt on with an EX civic cat.

Your answer is wrong. Op has a Hatch which only comes in dx or cx for 96-00.
