d16z6 question
I got d16z6 in 94 eg coupe...had some surging at idle so took off thrittle body and fitv and sprsyed with carb cleaner and brush and scrubed them clean..adhusted that white circle inside the fitv so it was tight (turned all the way closed). The gaskets broke so i used gasket naker silicone and sealed it up...let it sit for about 14 hours then started it and goes ght to 4k rpm and stays...sprayed carb cleaner while running and didnt make difference....could it be cuz i need the real gaskets and not silicone? and throttle body gasket broke and had to use silicone on that as well...my feeling is the silicone but other thoughts are appreciated...thanks
