b18c1 Intake Pipe on B18a1
So i am currently attending a tech school and i have access to 50% off K&N products, so im interested in a intake pipe for my 91 B18a1, now the K&N version for the a1 in the 90-93 still makes use of the oem piping(which i dont want) so i found the 94 GSR intake pipe for a little bit more, filter piping the whole deal, for like 20$ more... my question is will it fit a b18a1 in a DA chassis?

No because the b18c1 throttle body sits lower then a typical b18a/b intake and isn't a straight pipe design. the dc/eg/ek/em1 will fit but a lil adjustment to clear the battery. Or you can just relocate the battery to the rear and open up the area for more room.
what do you think would be my best choice? i could either go for an eg(like a d16z6) an ek/em1 (d16y8,b16a). they all have different bends, and K&Ns filter for the DC is the same as the GSR (lower tb) but it says it fits all 94-01 tegs. im just skeptical about the ABS, and i dont want to buy one, have it not fit then have to return it, and try another one haha.
So I found a 92-95 civic si intake pretty much a d16z6 so a civic ex one too. It looks like this,

With no battery in the engine bay it seems it follows the same first bend as the stock pipe but continues at an angle instead of curing left to get around the battery.
My guess is it would be somewhat like this If I am correct? Now I know that car has no abs but it looks like it would clear the system , any input? Thanks

you'll be fine with that intake I still used a AEM SRI on my GSR even tho I had a skunk2 intake manifold. But idk if the OEM one would fit meh probably if you wiggled it around enough or have a tucked/shaved bay.
