Hi all, I just did the DPFI to MPFI swap in my 90 STD. One thing I noticed was that the tube from the air filter box to the intake manifold is too long. I went to the local junk yards and it seems like this part is missing from all the Civic SI's in the yards. Are there any other cars you can source this tube from? I tried a tube from a DA Integra, 1992 Accord, and an EG hatch, but they were either too long or not the right angle. I tried looking it up online, but did not find anything. May just end up buying a cold air intake, but would like to have the option of remaining stock.

 

More than likely it's best to go the cold air route. I know parts stores sell the black crush pipe that extends and bends. That stuff would work for making your own pipe to meet up. If you want the stock air box still, and it looks very similar.
